Acupuncture

acupunctureThe ancient therapy of acupuncture has been used successfully for thousands of years and is known to promote health and alleviate pain and suffering. It continues to be recognised today as helpful in the treatment of  allergies, injury, infertility, migraine, lumbago, depression, stress & anxiety, insomnia and obesity.

An acupuncturist views health and sickness as concepts of "vital energy," "energetic balance" and "energetic imbalance." When health is restored then symptoms begin to subside. The flow and distribution of this "vital energy" within its pathways is known as "meridians and channels".

Acupuncture is also used for an exciting treatment know as ‘Rejuvenation’, or the  acupuncture facelift, and can be helpful in reducing signs of ageing by improving blood flow and lymph circulation to the whole face.

Acupuncture at our centre takes place in a relaxing and peaceful environment in our secluded premises overlooking the gardens.  Jim Si So, our resident acupuncturist, believes in the holistic influence on health and feels that the integral experience of the acupuncture session is an important part of the overall healing process.
